Summary of Practice:
Charlene's practice involves land use issues, real property title matters and transactional matters for landowners. She has been with Bosso Williams since its inception in 1989. Prior to that time, she was with the Santa Cruz law firm of Murphy, Williams, Stevens and Book, the Monterey County District Attorney's Office and the Modesto City Attorney's Office.

For the past 15 years Charlene has handled a broad range of land use, environmental regulatory, land development and entitlement issues, as well as resolution of parcel legality, title and easement matters. Her current representation involves commercial, residential and mixed-use subdivisions and coastal developments.

In addition to land use administration hearings, her experience in civil litigation includes real property, landlord/tenant, real estate contracts, boundary disputes, and general business matters. She also handles transactional matters such as commercial and residential leases, easements, and road maintenance and boundary line adjustment agreements. She has completed mediation workshops and negotiating programs at the Straus Institute For Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University, and has served as a private mediator.

Professional Organizations:
Charlene is admitted to practice in California and is a member of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association and the Women Lawyers of Santa Cruz County. Charlene is also Chair of the Real Estate Section of the Santa Cruz County Bar Association.

Community Involvement:
Charlene has served on the Board of Directors for Habitat For Humanity Santa Cruz, Inc. and for Montessori School.
